If you don’t plug all the cables in, your PC won’t run. So, before you screw your case closed, it’s important to check that all your cables are attached to the right components. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your time by having to check and re-check your internal parts over and over again.
5. Not checking the PC’s temperature once it’s up and running
Your CPU is the essential component of your PC as it does most of the heavy lifting in terms of processing. This causes heat to build up. Now, the right temperature for a PC varies depending on the build, but it’s best to keep it below 175°F when gaming. Also, make sure your PC doesn’t go past 203°F because this is when your PC will automatically slow itself down to stop the temperature from increasing. So, it’s best to invest in an efficient cooling system and download programs that let you keep an eye on your PC’s temperature.
